Allow me to be the first to say that i have a small dislike for the Jordan 7. The model does nothing for me. of course Jordan won his 2nd Championship Ring in them, Dream Team Olympic medals, but i just can’t get with the overall look. don’t get me wrong though, i love what the treatments done to them. the colors they come/came out with were pretty sweet, like these Hare Jordan VII’s samples. definitely one of my favorites colorways.
The model is BLAH, but i needed this colorway. i even considered copping the Hare Jordan 1’s since there truly dope to me
The only reason i passed on them was quite frankly, too many people had them that i knew. i needed something Special. not too unseeable as a release, but something, Special. Enter the Oreo Jordan 6
i happen to pick up a few pairs of these last year for a few Projects and potential ideas i had and the idea of merging the 6 and the 7 just seemed so seamless since visually the VII is nothing more than a modified VI. i knew i had to do it right though, and one thing was gonna hold me back from having it the Way i wanted it. the Clear sole.
Dont get me wrong, i love an icy clear sole, but i needed a colored one, and there are NO colored bottoms on any jordan Vi’s. That presented a small problem, one that i could overlook, but the devil is in the details; and Lord knows im no saint… so i had to make it happen 😉
According to the Chinese Calender February 3rd marked the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit, so what better time would it be to post these then today. o and the Irony of it all? today is the 7th…with that said , let’s get into the Sneakers. Enjoy
